Letters from the Past will post letters I found in my family memorabilia. After the painstaking task of transcribing the letters, I will post them here with any photos I may have of the people. Follow the stories of love, lost, and migration starting from the 1870's in Kansas.
I am a Genealogist and Anthropologist. I have been writing my family history since the mid 1990s. I studied genealogists for my Masters in Anthropology and have published my thesis on popular genealogy in Western Canada, titled Genealogy Mania.
